The days fly by so quickly now I swear I'd see the hours floating out the window if I had chance to stop and watch them. Unfortunately I never seem to achieve a great amount and I find myself being thrilled if I get a spare 15 minutes to vacuum and tidy the living room. I love my little girl to bits but every now and then I just wish she would sleep without being held so I could at least wash up without having to juggle her as well. I have a brilliant wrap and wear her quite often but have you ever tried washing up whilst wearing a baby? Not only can you barely see round into the sink you struggle to reach into the sink also! I know when I look back on these days i'll be pleased about the amount of time I managed to spend with Alexandria and I won't even remember the housework that wasn't done but sometimes its just about achieving something in a day.

I do however try as often as possible to achieve 'Firsts' for Alexandria and make sure that hubby is involved too. Working 12 hours days he misses her a lot but I make sure that I save her first experiences for when he can join us. This week we took her to her first football match, he seemed so proud that my heart almost melted. She was great through the first half and a bit grouchy through the second but she did good overall and she loved watching the players run around.

What's brilliant is we actually won and not by just 1 goal, by 3! We won 5-2 so I guess we chose a good match to go see. Alexandria also got to meet the team mascot who was lovely and excited to see such a young child at the game as his girlfriend is due their first this year. Alexandria was much more interested in watching the game than having a picture though.

Also this week I have baked and donated nearly 100 cakes for MacMillan's Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning, photos to follow. Then whilst being looked after by Stuart as I was baking Alexandria was plotting her escape with a little help from Papa!

Hope you're all having a lovely week full of even the smallest of achievements,
